"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give 10 stars, I would.
Miranda Priestly once said, “By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how that thrills me.” Thankfully, that’s the exact opposite of my experience with Unika.
After spending months trying to resolve an issue that multiple representatives either couldn’t figure out or seemed completely confused by, I was beyond frustrated. Then I was fortunate enough to connect with Unika, and within minutes she accomplished what others had failed to do for months.
She was knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and clearly understood both the system and the solution. While others were spinning their wheels, she immediately identified the problem, explained everything clearly, and resolved it with confidence and competence.
Quite honestly, she appears to be the glue holding the operation together. Her expertise, responsiveness, and dedication to customer service are exceptional. If every insurance agent provided the level of service that she does, customer satisfaction would be through the roof.
Thank you, Unika, for restoring my faith in customer service and proving that sometimes all it takes is one person who truly knows what they’re doing.

"I am leaving a five star rating for Donna Christopher’s State Agency in Johnstown PA primarily due to my interactions with one of the staff members in the office, Unica. I was pretty frustrated prior to working with her regarding my issue and was pretty much ready to transfer to another agency for my car insurance. Unica was fantastic with following up when she said she would and continued to work until the issues were resolved. She was always pleasant and knows her job well. I was very pleased with her customer service which today is hard to come by. I believe that if you speak up when things aren’t satisfactory, then you should speak up also when they are exemplary, and in this case they certainly were. If my experience is an example of Unica’s quality of work and customer service, she most certainly deserves to be well compensated."

"If I could give a 0, I would.
After multiple issues with this owner and team, we asked for a meeting to iron out the 5 policies we have with her. Donna confirmed to meet with us. We arrived for our meeting and she was a no call no show. On a positive note, the agent who had to be on the receiving end of my shock when I found out Donna was a no call no show (I even said to my husband before we arrived “I bet you she’s not even here) did a nice job de-escalating the situation. She did her best to help navigate the messy situation with us. Anyway. Not only does it take a week to get a response from Donna or her team (if any), we came to find out we weren’t receiving discounts that we were told we’d get and that I’ve been getting charged for more than I should. We sent everything in to add our son to insurance a month ago and never got a detailed account of what it would cost, had no clue if they even added him. I asked twice for a piece of jewelry to be removed from my policy and appears it never was. This agency just sits back and collects their customer’s money and could care less about providing any level of service. It’s disappointing that no one takes pride in their service anymore- even when their name and face are plastered around town. We would leave if we thought it’d make a difference, but we know that it doesn’t. I know State Farm provides some of the cheapest insurance rates, so I get it… you get what you pay for. Cheap. Donna is going to continue to get rich regardless. Very disappointing."

"They weren’t kidding when they said that they’re like a good neighbor because they surely treated me as such. I was shopping around for different insurance quotes and was getting quite flustered because everywhere was giving me insane quotes but after getting into contact with John DeArmitt he was able to get me the same coverage I currently have with bigger than anticipated savings. "BEWARE NEW UPDATE in reply to Donna ,
First show me a signed authorization signed by me that shows that I signed up for auto pay for my ex husbands account . You can’t because it does not exist . Secondly , the billing statement of payments does not show my card on that list . Third : the name in the credit card is not my exs it’s Mine . Your office did NOT verify it . Your office took the double payment 268 and also 165 , NOT the prior business . Finally if it’s auto pay as you state then why was there a missed payment as per your statement ? The whole purpose of auto pay is to keep payments on time . I have no policy there with your office , your office took MY MONEY for someone else’s account bills on a policy this is not mine . You are in the wrong and you know this . If this happens to you then you would be upset too . Hire better staff . I wish you lots of luck and bless your heart after all the non truths you have stated . Attached are the three payments taken from me . One is a double and one a single payment . None authorized by me for the use of my card . My card was on my policy when I had one and was given to John. I have all the emails and evidence . You shouldn’t be putting someone through this all over again mistake by your office that you won’t up to . It’s about time the issue and allegations were escalated . Anyone signing up for this State Farm please be cautious . Protect your cards , Becareful when you get a bill.
UPDATE:
After I canceled all my policies with them . A month later they charged my credit card for my ex husbands account . No one authorized it and they claimed he did , which he did not as he is not an authorized user . I tired ti resolved it peacefully but they didn’t care . They took his two payments of 265 on my card because they claim he was behind a month . Mind you this card was on file only for my policy on my own separate account , which I no longer have any policy there . They committed fraud and refuse to reimburse . How is it legal to bill someone else’s card. Especially when I have numerous emails stating that I have been divorced two years , it’s two separate policies. They have the most incompetent people here . Matt ran my card without permission or contacting anyone , all because my ex had two bills due that had nothing to do with me .
I wish I could give a good review but based on my personal experience, I can not do so. I moved here from out of state and talked to John, he sold me the home insurance policy and the car insurance policy . I paid in full for the entire year of the policy for my home . He sent me a self survey link for pictures of the property , which I completed . I was told everything was good and my two policy’s were good . A few weeks later I start getting forwarded mail from my prior address out of state with mail from this State Farm ( they had asked for prior address when I signed up, but I was asked where I will be getting mail and I said at my new property where I live ). The forwarded mail was a bill charging me 174 dollars for a payment plan for the homeowners I paid in full. I contacted John via email and he said he would look into the address issue and the bill. I never heard back . I called yesterday to ask about the status of that since the bill is due and when I would get my car insurance bill and his reply “ uh , I don’t know.” He couldn’t tell me when my bill is due for the car nor tell me why they are charging me as a payment plan for the home insurance that’s paid in full . He also couldn’t really explain why I got a 91 dollar auto refund check . All he said was that it could happen sometimes, but was sure to tell me that not to cash the check until I speak to the office manager ( who was off on Monday). I also asked about a letter I recieved that was forwarded to me last week from again the prior address from State Farm. This letter took over two weeks to get to me . It was to tell me they de used that my roof was old and they were canceling my policy 6/13."

Update: The team is excellent! Everyone is extremely helpful. If they don't know the answer they will find out for you as quickly as they can. They have always been so helpful to us."

"Debbie & Linda are true assets to the company! Debbie has been helping me for many years continuously and has been nothing short of amazing, always. Linda was a blessing and so helpful last week when my son had an accident and we were encountering one issue after another with the automated system trying to get road side assistance for a tow & file a claim for an accident. After stopping in, she immediately, without hesitation helped us and got our claim started, a tow set up and a rental car initiated. So much easier handling everything in person with our local office instead of an 800 number where the care is just not the same. Did a follow up with Debbie today and she was excellent as always and assisted in tying up some loose ends"

"I wanted to share how pleased I am with State Farm for all of my car insurance needs. The one thing stands out the most to me are the wonderful people who work there who are always ready to help. There is one employee who I have spoken to multiple times and who always seems very happy to help me with whatever I need. Unika is an extremely pleasant young lady who I feel very lucky and happy to talk to when I call the State Farm office. Unika is always kind, respectful, helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. "I would not recommend this agent or the agents who work for Donna Christopher. I had changed insurances due to Donna telling me herself that my business would be covered and months down the road they canceled me stating my business could not be covered after taking my payments for a few months. Then they decided to reinstate my insurance to my business vehicle without my knowledge and consent. I went to call them about the situation and I can no longer talk to them about this and their secretary told me I had to speak with corporate regarding my insurance from here on out. They didn't give me the corporate number they gave me some customer service number for issues with the state farm app. Very disappointed in the service from this agent and her other agents as well who refuse to call you back."
